Don't worry England have one great attribute -- losing from a winning position

I'm proud of the guys :D

Also I'm glad they beat a good Australian side who played well but just got steam rollered on Day 2.

Congratulations to the England team on a great series win, But don't get to comfortable with the ashes as they are only on loan to you for a couple of years.

Here we go -- we are known as 'whinging poms' -- it seems the Aussie Press has decided to become Whinging Aussies

According to a lot of them England cheated by preparing, under orders, a dust bowl pitch at the Oval and stealing the Ashes on a wicket produced for a result.

They seem to forget that both teams played on the same wicket and neither team prepared for the wicket by including bowlers for a deteriating wicket. Australia left out a spinner and England only included their normal selection of Swann. Now if it was a conspiracy to steal the Ashes surely England would have included Panasar as was being suggested by the English press.

England 1st Innings 332 [fair return but nothing special]
Australia 1st Innings 160 [brilliant England bowling and bad Australia batting]
England 2nd Innings 373-9 Declared [once again a fair batting performance]
Australia 2nd Innings 348 [way better batting performance]

So on a wicket supposedly created to disintegrate to produce a result there was no reduction in runs or run rate over the 4 innings over 4 days.

The difference was on Day 2 when Englands bowlers tore through Australian batting and won the test and the Ashes.

I think the Australian Press should talk to their English compatriots for Headlines and Stories you print when defeated in the Ashes -- they obviously don't have anything tucked away for those days when 'WE WAS ROBBED' happens.

The press out here really annoy the crap out of me when ever Australia loose.
We've had our turn at the top for a fair while so they have just got to except the fact that the better team won,not that I'm happy about it but I will survive.
